Blast Assessment ModelBlast consulting is an integral part of the design and execution of a successful blast and glass hazard mitigation solution. Concentric Security recognizes that only a thorough blast assessment can determine the appropriate applied technology for a specific facility. Through the use of advanced modeling and testing techniques a complete analysis of a facility and its site can be accomplished prior to the design or implementation of a solution. This analysis is recommended to all of our customers who need to understand the existing performance characteristics of their facility and site during a blast event.

ARA uses sophisticated algorithms and known patterns from current and previous testing to analyze how a facility will respond during the blast as it is currently designed and how it will perform with the application of a new technology designed for blast and glass hazard mitigation. ARA performs this thorough analysis as an independent third party whose results make it possible for our customers to better understand what products and configurations will yield the best protection for the least cost.

ARA is uniquely qualified to perform threat, risk and vulnerability assessments as well as blast resistant designs and analyses for both government and industrial/commercial customers. ARA is working hand in hand with the GSA to develop the most current research and guidelines used to define our industry including the following programs:

Glass Fragmentation Retention for Windows Program

US General Services Administration - Standard Test Method for Glazing and Window Systems Subject to Dynamic Overpressure Loadings

WINGARD software for the Office of the Chief Architect (GSA)

Progressive Collapse Analysis and Design Guidelines for New Federal Office Buildings and Major Modernization Projects
