Concentric Security Demonstrated Experience

The following contract examples demonstrate both the breadth and variety of Concentric Security perimeter security construction projects nationwide.



 

U.S. Department of State - Washington, DC

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security was contracted to furnish and install 16 new crash rated electric bollards and replacement of the ellipse driveway. Work included removing existing hydraulic bollards and pumping units and replacing with motor driven bollards and electrical control panels. A new snow melt system was installed as well as new bollard control pushbutton stations. New touchscreen controls were installed in the security control center via fiber optic interface to the bollards. Work was performed in off hours to minimize noise and disruption to the Department of State.



 

United States Air Force - Ellington Field ANG Base

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to furnish and install over 800 feet of K-12/K-4 crash rated fence around an undisclosed facility.

 




 

United States Air Force – Maxwell AFB, AL

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to provide the government with complete construction and warranty service for the installation of 13 DoS Crash Rated Bollard systems and 14 DoS, K12 shallow mount, hydraulic final denial barriers at three (3) different gate locations on Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. 



 

United States Air Force – FE Warren AFB, WY

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to furnish and install DoS K4 crash certified manual drop arm barriers, ID Check Stations, electric drop arm barriers, DoS K12 crash certified electric final denial barriers, signs and signals, and point-to-point wrong way loop detection systems for the Commercial Vehicle gate.



 

Coors Field - Denver, CO

Scope of Work: Concentric Security was awarded a contract to furnish and install 154 architectural pre-cast concrete fixed bollards and 9 architectural pre-cast concrete removable bollards around the perimeter of the Coors Field in downtown Denver.  



 

Joseph P Addabbo Federal Building – Jamaica, NY

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security was awarded a design-build project to engineer, furnish and install approximately (250) fixed and (18) hydraulic bollards toprovide a security perimeter around the Joseph P. Addabbo Federal Building in Jamaica, Queens, NY.  All ordered material has arrived and we are awaiting notice to proceed on the installation as soon as GSA has secured the revocable consent authority from the City of New York.



 

IRS, New Carrolton Building

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security is conducting a survey of the existing construction site to include a written report for GSA and IRS review.  These reports will assess the condition/availability of power, control conduits, sump drains, and card access systems for inclusion in final drawings.  Concentric will then furnish and install (12) K12 crash rated vehicle barriers, (1) level 3 ballistic guard booth, (15) stainless steel bollards, and card reader and Aiphone equipment. This project includes the removal of existing hydraulic bollards at 5 locations.



 

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security was contracted to furnish & install forty-three architectural pre-cast concrete planters.  The requirements included removing and replacing old planters and saving existing plants tobe placed in new planters.  The new planters were offloaded and placed, filled with filter fabric, drainage stone, soil and existing plants.



 

Naval Air Station Meridian

NAS MeridianScope of Work: Concentric Security was contracted to provide commercial vehicle gate upgrades to existing access control points.  The work involved furnishing and installing K8 crash rated Aegis II fence, K8 engineered electrically-operated cantilever gates with Monolock SecurGate enclosures, K8 crash rated post and rail, crash rated manual cable crash beam barrier, K12 crash rated electric vehicle barriers and a bullet resistant guard booth.



 

Columbus Air Force Base

Columbus AFBScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to provide the General Contractor with 3 automated sliding gates and 2 automatic swing gates to complete an ongoing Access Control Point renovation Project.  Ornamental style gates with heavy duty gate operators were installed at two gate locations on the Columbus AFB. 



 

Naval Medical Center Balboa

NavMedCtr SDScope of Work: Concentric Security was contracted to furnish K4 certified portable vehicle barriers with optional manual hand pump, push button controls, continuous duty, 208/3/60 motor, limit switch - indicates fully down position, hitch assembly (right style),  wheels, galvanized finish with yellow stripes on plate. 



 

United States Military Academy – West Point, NY

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to furnish and install K12 electric barrier to protect a roof top parking area.  Project included developing a design to protect the bridge, keep the integrity of existing historical stone work, interface with a new DoD card access system and fully automate parking for inbound and outbound traffic in a single lane configuration.



 

Retirement Systems of Alabama – Montgomery, AL

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to provide and install two drop arm barriers, one swing arm barrier, and five electric vehicle barriers.  The work included integrating the drop arm barriers with overhead doors for seamless operation.

 



 

World Bank – Washington, DC

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to refurbish and relocate (2) existing surface-mounted plate barriers, provide and install (2) new surface-mounted plate barriers, and install only (13) horizontal beam barriers.  The work includes an extensive amount of control wiring and integration with other electronic control systems.



 

National gallery of Art, Washington , DC

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security is providing design services to include existing condition survey, design documents and as-built drawings for the use of a unique K4 rated barrier. Concentric is providing turn-key equipment and installation services for this high profile location.



 

United Nations Headquarters – New York, NY

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to provide and install (4) anti-ram vehicle barriers at the main entrance and the main service entrance at the United Nations Headquarters. (2) Guard booths, one at the main service entrance and one at the main parking garage entrance, were also included.



 

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) held a $49M, 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide a broad cross section of physical security related products and services to the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Following 9/11, WMATA received federal funding earmarked to upgrade critical transportation infrastructures in the Washington, DC area. They needed a company capable of providing all the required physical security technologies while meeting compressed lead times associated with the funding. Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) was the only company capable of supplying each of the physical security technologies and services required through a single GSA Federal Supply Schedule. BPA Task orders have included the design, supply and installation of a wide variety of technologies necessary toupgrade the WMATA headquarters complex. Technologies have included blast hazard mitigation technologies for windows, vehicle barriers, X-Ray and metal detectors, architectural pre-cast concrete security barriers, guard booth, explosive resistant trash receptacles for all metro stations, optical turnstiles, bullet resistant guard stations, and the upgrade of the electronic security system for the headquarters building and several outlying facilities.



 

Baltimore Gas and Electric – Baltimore, MD

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to provide and install (4) electric vehicle barriers, (72) crash-rated steel bollards, and (8) collapsible bollards. The installation of the (4) electric vehicle barriers includes a significant amount of control wiring inasmuch as the electric vehicle barriers are tooperate in conjunction with swinging gates.



 

US Air Force – McGuire AFB, NJ

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to furnish and install SafetyDrape blast curtains in a number of base facilities. This project demonstrated the logistical capabilities for program managing a large, multi-site project.



 

Federal Bureau of Investigation, Washington Field Office

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) received a contract to furnish and install (4) K-12 shallow-mount plate barriers systems, (14) K-8 hydraulic bollard systems, and (1) custom bullet resistant guard booth to match an existing guard booth on-site. This project required a tremendous amount of coordination, as we were responsible for the design and engineering as well as the approval process with the National Capitol Planning Commission and Commission of Fine Arts (the Washington DC regulatory commissions for exterior construction work). After all approvals were received, we were responsible for removing the existing shallow mount plate barriers and hydraulic bollards and installing the new shallow mount plate barriers, hydraulic bollards, and custom bullet resistant guard booth.



 

US Department of Transportation Headquarters – Washington, DC

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to furnish and install (27) hydraulic bollards, (4) hydraulic barriers, (8) traffic arms, and (1) guard booth in conjunction with the construction of the new Southeastern Federal Center in Washington, DC. All equipment has been installed and is fully functional.



 

Smithsonian Institution

imageScope of Work:  Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) held a $29M, 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide a broad cross section of physical security related products and services to the Smithsonian Institution. The scope of activities performed under this program clearly highlights both the breadth and strength of Concentric Security’s unique physical security offering. To date, task orders have included but are not limited to Disaster Management Planning, Risk Assessments, Blast Engineering Services, Electronic Security Design Services, furnish/install blast hazard mitigation technologies on a number of museums, furnish/install guard booths, and furnish/install temporary barrier systems including architectural pre-cast concrete planters/walls/spheres and vehicle barriers.



 

US Air Force – Keesler  AFB, MS

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to furnish and install approximately 15,000 linear feet of Ameristar Impasse High Security Fence.  This work included both crash rated and non crash rated fence, mow strip, removal and disposal of existing fence materials. The 15,000 feet of fence was spread out over more than 15 different areas of the facility. This was a complete turn-key project.



 

US Army – Fort Dix, NJ

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to provide and install (5) electric vehicle barriers at (4) entrances/exits to the Base. Work was phased to reduce, as much as possible, the disruption of vehicle traffic into and out of the Base.

 



 

US Marine Corps – Cherry Point, NC

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) was contracted to supply architectural pre-cast concrete security barriers designed to create stand-off distances as defined under CFR (Code of Federal Regulations). This project is highlighted both for its size and challenges.

 



 

John F. Kennedy Center – Washington, DC

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) received a contract to furnish and install (8) K-8 hydraulic bollard systems and (1) pre-manufactured steel guard booth. Our responsibilities for this project included: design and engineering of the bollard systems and guard booth, construction work to prepare the site for the installation of the guard booth and hydraulic bollards, and material supply and installation of the bollard systems and guard booth.



 

US Air Force Strategic Command

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to upgrade base ECF (Entry Control Facility) locations and harden critical assets against blast effects. Work included the supply and installation of crash rated cantilever sliding gates, cable crash beam barriers, ballistic upgrades to existing entry guard stations, fragment retention film and blast curtain systems for key facilities. All activities were accomplished as turnkey including site preparation, electrical, installation and commissioning.



 

89th Regional Readiness Command – Army Reserve

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security was awarded one of the larger blast hazard mitigation contracts for the Army Reserve. The project required us to assess and provide turnkey glass hazard mitigation upgrades for US Army Reserve sites in a 4 State Region. 3 separate site assessment teams were initially deployed to assess facility site conditions, generate required material/labor scopes and develop a master program plan for project completion. The program management template included the scheduling, logistics, supply, installation and commissioning of blast hazard mitigation technologies for 51 separate buildings. The project scope allowed 1 year to complete the project. We completed all 51 facilities in less than 90 days. This project clearly demonstrates the speed, flexibility and expertise necessary to meet the execution requirements of a complex physical security program.



 

US Office of Personnel Management

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) received a contract to furnish and install glass hazard mitigation technologies on the US Office of Personnel Management headquarters building. This project was a very complex project with considerable logistic challenges. Concentric Security was required to disassemble/reassemble all modular furniture and perform all work at night.

 



 

US Court of Appeals – Washington, DC

imageContract Work: Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) received a contract to furnish and install a new guard booth into an exterior brick wall at the US Court of Appeals building in Washington, DC. This project fully demonstrated the breadth of capabilities often required for non-conventional physical security upgrades. This project had already been in a design phase for quite some time with very little progress. The US General Services Administration used the Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) GSA Schedule to obtain the design and construction services they needed to expedite this project. All products and services were available through this single vehicle. The project included the development of architectural plans, formal submissions to both the Commission of Fine Arts (CFA) and the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC), site demolition, installation and commissioning. The project was completed in record time. (See letter of recommendation herein).



 

US Air Force Mobility Command – Travis AFB, CA

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security (Intellimar, Inc.) received a contract to supply architectural pre-cast concrete security barriers for the flight line security program at Travis AFB, CA. We supported the engineering requirements necessary to determine product design, layout and placement.

 



 

US Navy – Naval Air Station – Willow Grove

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received a contract to furnish and install a variety of physical security technologies. This work further demonstrates the range of capabilities provided by the firm. Work included furnishing and installing U.L. Level 8 aluminum bullet resistant guard booths, architectural pre-cast concrete security barriers, fragment retention film, blast curtains and vehicle crash gates. This project includes all material supply, site work, electrical and erection.



 

United States Army – Fort Benning, GA

imageScope of Work: Concentric Security received multiple contracts to provide perimeter security and force protection upgrades at high profile locations.  Conducted enhancements of access control point equipment. Installed  anti-ram protection at several locations to include a remote training site. These projects consisted of furnishing and installing K-12 crash gates, anti-ram systems, and force protection equipment. Contracts involved integrating systems and technologies for ease of operator use.



 

Secure Commercial Building with Government Tenants

Scope of Work:  Concentric Security was awarded the contract to furnish and install fragment retention window film on 1501 windows in a secure commercial building with government occupants. The project brought the building exterior windows up to GSA/ISC condition 3b to mitigate a blast event. The project was completed on time and within budget without any safety or security incidents.
